when i found my place
seem heaven by your side.

finally, after 2 hectic weeks, i have my portfolio, video and essay tucked away safely in the ntu office of admissions (: yay. hours of hardwork and effort boiled down to just a 1minute submission! and tonight i could finally snooze without colourpencils, pencils and paper on my bed! yay. for the pass 24hours from 3pm ytd -3pm today, i have been breathing, eating and sleeping art! it was a stressful, last minute rush as i created my debut video in less then a day and it turned out good!! (:
but really, ALL GLORY GOES TO GOD!
without him, it wouldnt have been possible! i encountered problem in ANY area while i was preparing... everything just WENT WRONG.

1. i lost my videocam in taka! (but it was found! THANK GOD! and joce witnessed it with me)
2. problem with converting the dvd file to vcd file.
3. problem of working with moviemaker AFTER conversion
4. noob at using comp microphone
5. not enough pieces in portfolio
6. unable to scan pieces bigger than a3!
7. bad-english essay! unable to burn softcopy.

but it all resolved!!! thanks to GOD! to song'en, advisor for my video, to xiaoan, for editing my essay and to my parents, who were always there for me and helping me along with the running around to buy things. to caleb, joce, my sis, for making filming myself possible :))

now i know that whatever the outcome, it would have been God's plan!

I'm transferred to assist the kindergarten! and it's GREAT! KIDS, I LOVE THEM! as they play catching ard you, ask you to plant a tiny seed they found, as they drag me ard to see things, as they sit on your lap, fight to tell you RANDOM THINGS.
and they are remembering my name! YAY :D

I HAVE NO TIME TO BLOG!

oh well, chuckles is now a school teacher!! (: yay. im teaching lower primary now! and im really pro at problem sums and bar diagrams! but instead of getting jacking, i get cuteness everyday seeing their adorable faces! (i am not pido)

and now im known as teacher elena/allamanda.
the reason they like me is cause im a sweet-smelling flower. ((: SO SWEET*
wells, i told them to call me cutecute teacher but i think it was a WRONG MOVE! hahaas.

but then i got a very enthusiastic 'teacher elena' ytd from the preschoolers who were shouting out of the window! it was germaine's kinder class ((:

a MUST KNOW, hot jonny is now aka, MR JON! super cute when the kids call him! and they giggled when they realised he's gona be botak when he comes back from ns (: im gona make them call him mr jonny oneday!! ((: jonny, must come back to visit them! but it's really interesting to see jonny teaching lil kids!

*freaks* THIS IS A BAD THING. i have no idea whats happening but im always flaring up and getting moody... grrr. it MUST be the stress.

reasons for being sad/moody/pms-yy:

1. my sister gets a new laptop when i need one too.
2. my mum complains that i dont have time to buy one, when it's cause our timings clash.
3. i didnt go watch nemo on ice :((
4. AMD admission criteria is driving me crazy: my portfolio is far from completion, 3min video with no videocam yet, essay is still missing.
5. my phone is falling apart

i woke up at 10 today. FREAK, badminton was supposed to be at 10. and there goes my chance to go to the gym! hahaha, i long expected myself to miss my gym session! HAHA. so then, i got out of the house late too cause i realised i LOST MY WALLET :( so phoned coordinator gareth.

and the miracle happened again! MY WALLET WAS FOUND at taka! ((: cool. God's amazing at reassuring me tt He's always there for me. and it's one more wallet miracle!! (: i tell you, that wallet loooves me! HAHA.
first thought when it was lost: OH SHIT! there goes my ic, my ezlink, my creditcard, my pdl, my money..
on 2nd thought: it was worst to lose all the memories that you have safely kept in that wallet. yupyup! (: wells, I FOUND IT ((: thank God!

and my day was so much brighter today, cause I MET DARLING HANNAH! and dearest JIAEN (: yayyyys! it took me awhile to meet her! *hugs*
we couldnt stop talking in kfc. she told me so many things abt jc life, boys, girls.. and we just talked and talked and talked like forever! she knows so many things that i ended up repeating everything! and girl, boy am i glad to be out with you cause i know that you probably have to turn down so many BOYS that are QUEUING UP for a date with you!! wells, BOYS, we have to live with them. and even though jiaen was there, i didnt care and i said it straight.....

they can NEVER figure out what youre trying to tell them until you simply say it straight in their face! it's like there's one part lacking in their brain or sth.. that stops them from understanding us and from getting that info across! GOSH.

drive all day


I'm a creep, i'm a weirdo,
what the hell i'm doing here,

i'm convinced that i will never find my prince charming. oh wells, happythoughts.

OMGosh during driving lesson today, I WENT ON THE ROAD! OUTSIDE! AH! finally i have the potential to be a hazard on the road! *AH*

i have 2 instructors, one that stays extremely calm and let me do all the crazy things like extreme right turns that ive not done before! and another one that is ultra careful and ultra particular about my turnings... and being super exact abt how you cross your hands on the steering wheel. last lesson, I SET MY PERSONAL RECORD OF STALLING LESS THAN 5TIMES! yayyyy. i start every lesson with a clean memory about how to drive, it feels like the first time behind the wheel all the time! (: but today, i guess i stalled ard that many, cause he was making me jam the brakes at 2nd gear and sometimes, you jam it too much.

one bad bang: hit a curb in the circuit
one attempt to kill myself: forgotten to stop infront of a dotted line, driving into oncoming traffic!

THANKGOD for instructors and their footbrakes! HAHA.
i got so freaked out when my instructor just changed gears up and up! *creeps* but it was fun (: OVERDRIVE (: haha.
i cant believe im driving on the road and giving way to pedestrians and jaywalkers!!! :D

and i babysitted my bro today! (: the fat boy staring in a disney channel movie now looks like my bro!! SO CHUBBY! i love my bro's overdramatic nature (: the way he exaggerate about everything. i had fun cleaning up his leftovers, (possibly) cleaning up his poo-poo, making sure he's bathing and singing finely. and he taught me how to pack the bed correctly today (:

one happythought: watching spongebob's retarded episodes and watch my brother mimick spongebob! HAHAHAAHA.

i went orchard with my bro today and he dashed through the sports shops asking the salesperson.. "do you know where to find boy's swimming costume?

Another lazy day bumming ard at home! HAHA. was shocked by how fast the due date for university applications is. so i'm pretty much stuck at home working on my portfolio, 400word essay and 3min video!! GIRL, THINK HIGH STANDARDS. it has to be THE BEST, just like old times.

obviously, i wont be such a movie spoiler and go tell everyone what happened in the show.
BUT 300 IS A GOOD MOVIE! ((:
it's better then any movie in the theatres now! seriously, its good.
action, blood, 6pacs, and touching *sobsob*

today's brother jiaen's birthday! yay. and for him, i got dragged in to watch 300! it was m18, and i was super freaked out alr on my way to greatworld. clinging onto seh and gene, whining on and on and going 'liao liao liao' cause i seriously dislike war-related shows.

the costume's so cute! lol.

BUT this GREAT epic movie proved me wrong. amazing. it was more then just gory images and blood spattering for free, more then nice red cloaks, and good 6 and 8pac bodies from the spartan army! (: (after awhile, you realised that they all basically have the same buff body, just diff actor) the super COOL slow mo actions of them fighting! *stab slit cut*, the rhino scene, the elepants, the show was moving! and makes you wonder whether such unbelievable patriotism to a kingdom/country still exist today (apart from terrorism) their bravery and courage was amazing. and the 300 are there LAUGHING at the endless spread of soldiers, actually happy that that golden opportunity finally came when they can go against a worthy army. death was sth glorious!
